We stayed at the Quality Inn as our Hurricane Irma hide-away. Under considerable stress the staff was phenomenally kind and helpful to the guests. We were without electricity due to the storm which made many guests unhappy but that is to be expected. The professional staff gave us breakfast after the hurricane and made everyone as comfortable as possible. Our room was remodeled with a small bathroom. It is extremely pet friendly, every guest had 1 or 2 pets.

I look forward to the same autobot reply to this post. Maybe, if I blast them on enough rating sites, I'll get to talk to an actual person about reversing my charges.

I was staying at this hotel for business purposes. They did not have a working fax machine so it made it very hard for my company to send credit card authorizations in order to stay at this hotel. In addition the Internet did not work, the staff could not provide information to solve this problem. The room was clean and the complementary breakfast was good. However if your going to stay at this hotel for business better off staying someplace else.

So my group goes to check in for the night. They get to their respective rooms and find the mattresses literally infested with both bed bugs and ants. Understandably, they chose not to stay the night and went to the front desk to ask for a refund. They were told all charges would be reversed.

I did send a scathing reply to the "Please rate your experience" email I got from their bot. All I got was a very contrite auto reply about how they are "sorry" my experience was so terrible and how they "value" each customer's concerns. Yeah. I feel real valued by their complete lack of basic customer service.

I have called the hotel no less than a dozen times. Every single time, I get the fax machine. I am currently on my 3rd call (today!) to the hotel chain's customer support. I have waited on hold for 10 mins each time. Nobody ever picks up.

Evacuated here during hurricane Irma. Lost power during the storm, which never came back. Certainly no fault of the motel; the entire region went down. However - the staff never checked in on the guests afterward xx pm, and a few days later closed the office & left, never informing anyone. That, they are responsible for.

Great full breakfast, easy commute, and easy to find. Unfortunately, rooms can be a hot or miss. I have stayed here several times and sometimes my room smells clean and is clean feeling and another not so much. We even had a room with bugs one time. It also can be very noisy. There is a club in the building. So for families this may not be a location for you but for the traveler or contractor coming through it will be fine.

If only this were the end of my story. But no. Because two weeks later, my manager got his credit card statement and he was still charged for two of the five rooms.

Where to begin. This whole process has been a nightmare from start to finish. I am an Admin Assist, and was asked to book 5 rooms for a single night stay at this location. The trouble started before I even spoke to anyone. There is a problem with this hotel's phone line. 4 out of 5 times when I dial the number listed, it rings to a fax machine. But sometimes, when I try the exact same number, it will get through.

I made my initial reservation successfully. However, the next day I called to confirm the number of rooms booked, as I only received confirmation for one. In the middle of explaining my issue I was promptly interrupted and told that the woman who handles group reservations was out and would not be back until the day after my reservation was set for. All I wanted was a room count confirmation. I did finally find my other room confirmations. Turns out they sent individual emails per room, and they got caught in my spam filter.
