After we sat, service was great.
Food was ok. It was pretty greasy.
I have been going to Cody's forever for special occasions. Usually everything is good. I am not a complainer but I had the worst experience Ive ever had in a restaurant last night. Ivey was our waitress and Amy the manager. Every single thing that could be off, was. She brought the wrong drinks to my Aunt and Uncle. Then got huffy when they explained what they wanted a second time. My daughter at first said she wanted french fries but quickly changed that to mashed potatoes while Ivey was still taking orders. Ivey brought the mashed potatoes then half way through dinner brought out fries. I was like? But let it go. Then i had ordered something off the sunday special. She let me order it but came back 15 mins later to tell me I had to order something else because it ended at 4.(which i didnt realize but she should have known) So then the checks come and they charged me for the fries. I told ivey i wasnt paying the 2.49 for the fries because we didnt order them. She brought Amy the manager to the table who got very loud and very rude to me. She said since we ate them we had to pay. I explained to her we hadnt eaten them, i had just thrown them in the to go box to feed my chickens so they wouldnt go to waste. She said since i was taking them i had to pay. Loudly. I said fine i will leave them here. By now the whole restaurant is looking. Quite embarassing. Then we get home and they charged my credit card 3 times! And my cousin's card twice! And im not sure about my aunt i will have her check tomorrow. The entire experience was awful and I cannot see myself eating there again. When my cousin called today to have them fix the extra charge Amy refused. I didnt realize that they charged me 3 times until later. But having us both charged multiple times could not have been accidental. Make sure you bring cash if you eat there.

Interesting visit to the codys in Sebring Fl. It started out with a few minor mistakes with our order and ended with the mgr accusing some of our party of eating something they didn't order and demanding they pay for it. Ok I can understand over reacting a bit by the mgr on duty. But what happened afterwards is what pissed me off.. My wife sees that they charged our act twice for the meal and then made it out to be just an oversight.. Then her cousin tells us how she was charged twice for her meal and then an additional $40, for what were not sure. Ivey was our server and Amy was the mgr on duty. I suggest you use cash if you stop and eat there. Obviously the two of them cant be trusted with a credit card.
Service before we sat, was not very reassuring. We had a reservation and the tables weren't ready for another 15 minutes.
Good food and reasonable. Sometimes service is slow when appetizers and food come together. But really great deals.
My main complaint is that 2 people in our group started to have allergic reactions to something. However, im not sure if it was something in the restaurant or something in the food.
