When my local florist contacted ridge florist on monday inquiring why the flowers were not delivered, she told me the lady said they were really backed up and said they tried calling my nom all day mothers day, and noone answered, which is an outright lie because i never even gave anyone my mothers phone number! Of course they said the couldn't deliver them that day, and would "tomorrow " be ok? (Tuesday )
WORST FLORIST IN SEBRING! I have had nothing but terrible experiences with this florist. When I used to order from out of state for my parents, they occasionally would receive arrangements from Ridge Florist and they ALWAYS DIED within less than a week of receiving them; from the point forward I told my local florist to NEVER contact Ridge Florist again. Then when my Mom passed away in 2011, the family received an arrangement from a family member in her honor and within 2 days the arrangement was dying. Their solution was for ME to bring THEM the arrangement back and they'd "freshen" it up for us. My Dad just passed away and I received an arrangement from them just to have the exact thing happen. The arrangement began dying after only 2 days. I attempted to contact the owner to discuss the matter with her and 4 days later I have yet to hear from her. AGAIN, their solution was to "bring the arrangement to them to be freshened up"! I refused saying this was not my responsibility and that it was THEIR responsibility to ensure they deliver quality items. I WILL notify my family member to dispute the charge and NOT to pay for the arrangement under any circumstances.
I ordered them locally from a shop here in toledo and they contracted to this place in sebring where my mom lives.
Mom, if you read this post, sorry you didn't get the order shown with the bird's nest. I know you would have loved that one!
She got them 2 days after mothers day....and they dont look anything like what i ordered. Super disappointed. And the word will be spread around sebring and toledo!
It is a sad state of affairs when a local small business demonstrates such a blatant disregard for their customers and is unwilling to stand behind the products that they sell when there is an error involved.
I ordered flowers for my Mom on 5/6 to be delivered on 5/11 for Mother's Day through Ridge Florist, Inc. online for an out-of-state delivery. Unfortunately, this has been a nightmarish debacle trying to get them to resolve the massive price difference between what I ordered and what was delivered on top of the fact that the delivery of the flowers, substituted without my knowledge or consent, was not only two days late but only delivered after I called several time inquiring as to why my Mother hadn't received her flowers on the 11th. Not one person in a decision-making capacity, including the owners (Nell and Steve Roberts) or the manager (Candy) has bothered to respond to my repeated requests over the past few weeks for them to contact me regarding the price and quality of my order.
Ridge Florist, if you read this post, this was an epic fail on your part. P.S. There are plenty of online customer service classes available, should you ever decide to venture in that direction.
I normally don't write reviews but I had to show my appreciation for the best customer service I received today! Huge thanks to Heather & all she did to help get an arrangement delivered for me. Super happy I went through them & I'll definitely be using them for my future needs!
Horrible! I ordered flowers for my mom for mothers day and she didn't get them until late yesterday afternoon (Tuesday )
I don't know how this florist is still in business. My son ordered flowers for me for Mother's Day that was scheduled to be delivered last Saturday the day before Mother's Day. When my son called me on Sunday to see how I liked the flowers, I told him I didn't receive any flowers. He was so disappointed to hear this. When they called the florist they said they tried to deliver them, but nobody was home. We were home all day. I finally got a call from them WEDNESDAY morning to tell me they have a flower delivery for me, but won't be there until late afternoon. At that point, I was very agitated and asked that Nel Roberts, the owner to call me. No call from her, but the manager, Candy called. She really didn't have any good excuse why the flowers were 5 DAYS LATE, or was not very apologetic. Terrible, Terrible, Terrible.
The photos below indicate what was delivered versus what was ordered. If you would have voluntarily paid $94.10 for the multi-color tulips, please put your glasses on and look at the one with the nest again. The arrangement which was delivered had a $43 base price difference, not to mention that it certainly doesn't even remotely resemble what I ordered. To add salt to the wound, there is obviously no concern by the owners/management regarding customer satisfaction or customer service. Since it is painfully obvious that there is no intent for the owners/manager to even attempt to rectify this problem, my next step will be to dispute the transaction payment, which I will promptly do tomorrow.
Let me begin by saying that the only reason I gave one star is due to the fact that zero or negative stars weren't options for my selection.
