Beautiful facility. They completely lied about what the insurance coverage was (I made a point to ask if they were in network, the response was Cigna is one of our best reimbursements. They called to say he was approved and I drove him 2.5 hours to the facility. Three days later I get a letter from Cigna saying they had denied his stay).

When I spoke with the facility on Monday, they admitted that this had never happened before (cops taking a patient to jail) but refused to admit having a city cop working there was a problem.
Jared, the Community Outreach Associate, located in our area is wonderful to work with. He is always willing to help and brings great knowledge and professionalism. We are very thankful to have him in our area.
I'm very grateful that I found Next Generation Village for my daughter. She was defiantly opposed to taking medication for her depression and anxiety and was self medicating with drugs. The doctor there really took the time to listen to my daughter's struggles and symptoms and was able to prescribe her something that has worked remarkably well rather quickly. She wasn't thrilled with the daily routine and didn't find the counselor to be very helpful but overall it gave us the start we needed to get her on the right track and we couldn't have done it without the help of Next Generation Village. The nurses and staff are friendly and helpful and it made an unpleasant situation bearable for her. There's a lot of boredom throughout the day and from what my daughter explained, the group sessions could use improvement as it often entailed the group twirling their hair around and staring off into space but in the end, it was a safe, clean place where I was able to call and check in and get detailed information on how she was coping. There aren't many adolescent programs and from the research I did, this really is the best option. Be prepared to have a good outpatient program and mental health counselor at home to continue treatment. I took my daughter out earlier than recommended because I felt she was at a place where I could work with her to get her on the right path.

Please read this review... My interaction with this facility has been nothing less than exceptional. The facility is four years young. It is situated in a very private setting with great amenities. The staff is warm and welcoming, as well as sincerely focused on the recovery of their patients.
The facility has a range of therapies, from a 12 step program, to Equine therapy, all of which my girl utilized and found to be very helpful.
The other issue is that they employ off duty cops for security. This is a psych facility. Let that sink in for a second. My son was very agitated one day and they called sheriff office for transport to a Baker Act facility. In the waiting period my son starts arguing with the security and said some ugly things. Sheriff shows up and ARRESTS him instead of transporting him to a psych hospital. As my son was loaded into the police cruiser, security says "I appreciate you letting me call in this favor". Not only was my son taken to JAIL FOR A NON VIOLENT offense but was denied the mental health care that he needed.
Thank you to the entire staff for making a very difficult decision a little easier.
They have recently paid a company to scrub their google reviews which I think is hysterically awful.
I am very hopeful that they have had a positive impact on our sons recovery.
Next Generation Village is an amazing facility. I have to say that from the intake process to the discharge process to the aftercare support, they are truly a group of highly trained, compassionate and professional people. Like most teenagers who enter a substance abuse program, my daughter was not excited (to say the very least). As a parent I was beyond anxious, worried, and desperate. From the very first conversation to the last person I spoke with/ worked with to help my daughter, I was consistently reassured, and always hung up the phone feeling a little more hopeful every time. Not only was my daughter addicted to drugs, but she also suffers from some significant mental health disorders and past trauma. The staff was very understanding and helpful and was not turned away by the challenge to help her. I want to specifically give my daughters counselor Elizabeth Williams credit for her professional, nurturing, knowledgeable, passionate approach to my daughters needs. She uses just the right balance of love and uncompromising conviction and sternness when counseling my daughter, it was exactly what she needed.
